About

My professional experience is earned in many areas of the design and communication arena. After graduating from college with a Bachelors in Communication Design - worked at a packaging studio,newspaper, and an advertising agency. Upon investigating that area of the design world - worked for a small retail store creating all of their advertising and managing the funds to do so.

In 1990 - returned back into the world of newspaper and worked for the first time as an ad designer working on Quark Express. Upon learning the computer - worked for the first time as an Art Director/Graphic Designer for an ad agency in Buffalo, NY.

After moving to the Washington Metro area worked in the following industries: Traditional and digital printing, television and video post production and exhibits/sets.

Currently, I work on a part-time basis teaching art classes to elementary age kids, and freelance design work from my home studio.
I am continuing to learn more about new media and animation in the design industry and its applications to learning for kids.
